What we make

Every opening
made to size

Powder-coated aluminium in the full colour range, glazed to suit the room — clear, toughened, laminated, low-E or double glazed.

Windows

Six ways a window opens, and the choice changes how the room ventilates, how it cleans and what it costs. Sliding for tight walkways, awning over a kitchen bench, casement where you want the most air moving.

Doors

The wider the opening, the more the hardware matters. Every door system is quoted with the track, rollers and locking matched to the weight of the panels — that is what decides whether it still slides properly in ten years.

Screens & glazing

Stainless mesh security doors so you can leave the front door open in summer, flyscreens on every opening sash as standard, and glass specified per room rather than priced across the whole house.

Why Apex

Built for South Australian conditions

Adelaide asks a lot of a window: 40°C summer afternoons, cold winter mornings, and coastal wind on the western suburbs. We spec frames and glass for the aspect each opening actually faces.

  • Measured on site, made to fit No standard sizes forced into non-standard openings, and no packing out gaps with filler.
  • Glass chosen per room Toughened where the code requires it, laminated for street noise, low-E or double glazed for west-facing rooms.
  • Occupied homes handled properly Replacement work sequenced so openings aren't left open overnight, and the site is cleared at the end of each day.
  • One company, start to finish The person who quotes the job is the person you call about it. No handballing between supplier and installer.
How it works

From first call to final clean-up

  1. Enquiry

Call, email, or send the form. Tell us roughly what you need — photos of the existing openings help a lot.

  2. Measure & quote

We come out, check the openings and the aspect, and put a written quote in front of you. Free, no obligation.

  3. Manufacture

Frames cut to your sizes and powder coated in your chosen colour, glazed to the spec on the quote.

  4. Installation

Booked to a date that suits you. Old units removed, new units fitted, sealed and adjusted on the day.

  5. Hand over

We walk you through operation and care, take the rubbish with us, and stay on call if anything needs adjusting.

Common questions

Before you call

Do you charge for the quote?

No. The measure and the written quote are free, and there is no call-out fee anywhere in metropolitan Adelaide.

Can you replace windows without rebuilding the wall?

In most cases, yes. Replacement units are made to the existing opening so the brickwork, render and internal linings stay as they are. We'll confirm on site — timber-framed and heritage openings occasionally need extra work, and we tell you before you commit.

Is double glazing worth it in Adelaide?

On west and north-west facing rooms it makes a noticeable difference to afternoon heat, and it cuts road noise on busy streets. On a shaded south wall the payback is much smaller. We'll tell you where it's worth the money and where it isn't rather than quoting it across the whole house by default.

What colours can I get?

The full standard powder-coat range — the usual Australian favourites like Monument, Woodland Grey, Surfmist and Black, plus anything else in the range if you have a colour to match.

How long does it take?

Manufacturing lead time depends on the size of the order and the time of year; we give you a date range with the quote and confirm the install day once the units are ready.
